Social Enterprise Academy

Social Enterprise Academy offers learning and development to individuals and organisations working to achieve positive social change. The Academy exists to support leadership and enterprise activity within people, groups and communities to enable them to create change in their lives and the wider world. Developed and delivered by social entrepreneurs and specialists, they combine work-based practice with accredited qualifications.

The funding from Postcode Innovation Trust, thanks to players of People's Postcode Lottery, was used to provide Leadership and Enterprise Programmes for senior leaders, aspiring senior leaders, as well as programmes to develop leaders for sustainable communities. Funded programmes have taken place in Birmingham, the Black Country, West Midlands, Lancashire and the currently funded programmes are focused on the North East.
